Finally after a week of rain
The warm sun is shining in, dancing on the floor,
melting the margarine on the counter and warming me through and through
The kitchen is filled with the smell of fresh cornbread and coffee
As I read a love note from my husband for the 100th time my heart smiles
I snitch a tiny bit of cookie dough
