I actually won last week's football pool! Can you believe it? $60 richer. Mercies!

It's tucked away in a safe place . . . waiting for November . . . and the weekend after my birthday. Jimmy and I have a little trip to the mountains planned.

I am sure it will not be long when this is a distant memory (maybe even tonight) but as of right now I am leading our NFL pool. Yup - you heard me - leading:

Do you believe that - there I am right up front. I picked those all by msyelf - Jim didn't even help! Not to mention that I didn't get the invite in time to pick Thursday's game. There are plenty of people in the pool too in case you are wondering.
